A Story is a type of Node that is used to post news or regular information on the website which is updated regularly or regularly added to the website. In general, stories form the bulk of the website information.

For example: Media Release, Speech, Product Announcement, Service Status Notifications are all types of information suited to Stories.

To create a Story on the website you must be logged in with an account that has been assigned the Create story content permission.

Exercise:

To create a Story:

1. Login to the website
2. Create a Page by either:
   • Enter the URL http://<website>/node/add/story or
   • Click on the Create content link and select Story from the list
3. A new Story should now be displayed
