Zimbra Mobile enables two-way, over-the-air synchronization (OTA) of mail, contacts, calendar and task data between the mobile device and the Zimbra Server. It features push email, which sends messages in real time to your device when it arrives on the Zimbra Server.

Zimbra Mobile is included with Zimbra Network Standard Edition or Zimbra Network Professional Edition and works 'out-of-the-box' with supported devices (just enter the Zimbra Server address and your user name, similarly to how you'd configure Microsoft Exchange).

Zimbra Mobile for Smartphones & iPhone

Supported devices are ActiveSync compatible and include Treo 650, 680, 700 w/p, Nokia E-Series, Motorola Q, and Samsung Blackjack (all Windows Mobile 5+ devices). Zimbra Mobile also is compatible with the Apple iPhones running 2.0 software.

Zimbra Mobile Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server

With Zimbra Mobile enabled, customers can use the Zimbra Connector for BlackBerry (ZCB) Enterprise Server Small Business Edition to synchronize with any BlackBerry device.

This is an optimal solution for organizations that have or are considering a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) and wish to migrate from legacy to a next-generation messaging and collaboration platform. ZCB is intended for up to 50 devices.

To use Zimbra Connector for BlackBerry you must be running BlackBerry Professional or BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Exchange.

Key features include:

  • Over-the-air synchronization of mail, address book, calendar in the native BlackBerry UI
  • Sync to all BlackBerry devices
  • Full access to Zimbra GAL
