Drupal website for Upstep

Upstep is a local band competition designed to raise $10,000 for Tabitha Foundation Australia, a non-profit organization that provides housing, water wells and development assistance to Cambodian communities.

Additionally, the competition will help to provide exposure for up-and-coming musicians.

Upstep were experiencing some problems with hosting their website and sought assistance from Agileware.

Since the original site was created using Microsoft FrontPage, we chose to completely redesign it in order to make it more accessible and user-friendly. To resolve this issue, we provided an alternative website design tool called Drupal.

This project also gave us the opportunity to design a new logo for the site.

This has resulted in the following:

  • a fresh look and feel to the site
  • a more user-friendly layout
  • an easy to use online registration form for bands, thus reducing the administrative burden
  • hosting of the new site

The response to our redesign has been overwhelmingly positive. Not only did we meet our client's stated requirements we also provided new ideas that they were otherwise unfamiliar with.
