Zimbra Standard Edition includes all the features of Zimbra Open Source Edition plus the following:

  • Attachment search: Ability to search for contents inside of attachments
  • HTML attachment rendering: Ability to quickly view attachments in HTML format
  • Online backup/restore: Ability to backup/restore a single mailbox or set of mailboxes such that any mailbox not actively being processed remains online and accessible
  • Storage management: Ability to schedule an automated process that moves older messages and data to less expensive disk storage
  • Rebranding: Ability to custom brand the Zimbra web interface
  • Web/phone support: Technical support from Zimbra via web, phone, and Knowledge Base
  • Domain-level administration: Ability to delegate domain-level administrators that can manage users and other settings within a specific domain
  • Domain-level branding: Ability to create domain-specific custom branding of the Zimbra web interface

Zimbra Mobile Included

Perpetual license for Zimbra

Now instead of renewing your Zimbra license annually, you can choose to purchase a perpetual license for Zimbra. This includes 1 year of support and updates for the first year. You may purchase support (including updates) for no more than 20% for every year thereafter.

The perpetual license is a nontransferable right to use the license for the number of mailboxes in the agreement. At the end of the 1st year from the date of issuance of the Zimbra license key and provided that support is still generally available, customer can pay a maintenance fee, no greater than (AMOUNT: total amount x 20%) per year, to continue to receive support, upgrades and updates or can continue to use the then current version for the number of license mailboxes in perpetuity for no additional fees.
