Zimbra Install & Training
Deploy Zimbra for your organisation using our Zimbra install and training service. Agileware will consult with you, install and configure Zimbra Collaboration Suite then provide administrator training. All for a special discounted rate.
As well as a rapid Zimbra deployment you can use this service for:
- Evaluation: if you wish to perform a Zimbra evaluation before committing to a purchase, planning and roll-out. You can use Agileware's Zimbra skillset to quickly deploy a evaluation environment without investing time and staff to learning Zimbra administration upfront.
- Migration: if you are migrating from Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or another IMAP-type email system, again you can use this service to quickly deploy Zimbra and depending on your migration requirements move all mailboxes to Zimbra.
Features of this service include:
- Configuration. Prior to installation, Agileware will consult with you and discuss your requirements. Your requirements determine the Zimbra Collaboration Suite choice as well as any additional configuration that may be required.
- Zimbra software. Based on your requirements and budget Agileware will recommend a Zimbra solution most suitable for your organisation.
- Zimbra Open Source Edition (free)
- Zimbra Starter Edition (for less 15 mailboxes or less, separate purchase)
- Zimbra Standard Edition (separate purchase)
- Zimbra Professional Edition (separate purchase)
- Installation. Choose from the following options.
- Remote installation. Agileware install and configure Zimbra for you remotely via the Internet.
- VMWare virtual machine. Agileware create a virtual machine, install and configure Zimbra then deliver this to you via the Internet.
- Onsite installation, ACT only. Agileware install at your site within the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
- Agileware can also install anywhere in Australia, contact us for a quote.
- This service also includes 2 hours of configuration according to your requirements. Additional hours can be purchased if further configuration is required.
- Administrator Training. After the installation and configuration process is complete, Agileware will provide 1 hour of phone and remote desktop training for you to take you through the features of the Zimbra Administrator Client and Zimbra Web Client. This is to familiarise you with the configuration options and answer any questions you may have. Agileware provide other administrator training, if required.
- End User Training. Agileware can deliver an end user training session at your site in the ACT. This training session lasts approximately 1 hour and is a presentation style review of the Zimbra Web Client and Zimbra Desktop. Other training for your end users can be provided, if required.
- On-demand Support. Once Zimbra is deployed for your organisation, Agileware can provide on-demand support at a special introductory rate for any immediate post-install support issues or tasks.
This service is typically completed within 1 to 2 business days.

Customer Responsibilities
- If installing Zimbra on a physical server, then:
- provide or purchase suitable server hardware for the install. Agileware can assist in consulting on hardware requirements,
- server must be installed with one of the supported Linux operating systems;
- Agileware can provide consulting on which is the best Linux operating system for your requirements.
- Purchase any Zimbra software licenses, if required. Alternately, Agileware can provide a free 60 day trial license for Zimbra if you just would like to evaluate the product.
- Provide a onsite point of contact for the duration of the service, typically 1 day. Contact needs to be available via phone and remote desktop.
- For remote installs, the site must be connected to the Internet. You must also ensure that Agileware can remotely access the server.
- Ensure that a full backup of your existing email is performed prior to any mail migration to Zimbra.
- This service will disrupt your email services for a period of time. Please advise your staff.
